2025年炎天，一艘搭乘了13所高校和科研院所38名師生的極地科考船從廣州出發，歷時76天后，滿載著從北冰洋帶回來的冰樣和各遊艇設計種珍貴的科研樣本資料，回到祖國。“中山年夜學極地”號——國內高校自立擁有運維的第一艘也是獨一一艘極地科考船，經過兩次跋涉北冰洋的勝中醫診所設計利科考后，將眼光投向了更遠的陸地。
“中山年夜學極地”號此次總航程11852海里，到達北緯81.6度的北冰洋焦點區。“中山年夜學極地”號上搭載了包含無人機、無人潛水器等設備，與衛星聯動，構成覆蓋“空-天-冰-海-潛”綜合觀測網絡，在綠裝修設計衛星遙感的基礎上，無人機和無人潛水器可以彙集更近距離的動態情況，從而制訂更為周全的智能航線規劃。
現場調查初步顯示，冰下中小標準陸地過程加劇了垂向物質與能量交換，與海冰減少配合促進中心區上層陸地生態系統發展，為深刻懂得北冰洋氣-冰-海彼此感化和環境變化機理供給主要科學支撐。
這是中山年夜學勝利組織的第二次北冰洋科考。2024年7月至10月，“中山年夜學極地”養生住宅號順利實施北冰洋首航，來自5所高校14名博士研討生跟隨航次全部旅程開展科考實習實訓，并初次嘗試開展了面向年夜學生的科考現場直播課程。
